Who is Joey Veerman?
Joey Veerman spent his entire youth career and his professional playing life thus far in his homeland. A native of Purmerend, he represented RKAV Volendam and FC Volendam before graduating from the latter’s academy. But he rose to prominence during his two-and-a-half-year stint with Heerenveen.
PSV Eindhoven took note of the Dutch midfielder’s talent and secured his services in a deal worth €6 million in January 2022. Since then, he has come leaps and bounds, establishing himself as one of the best midfielders in the Eredivisie.
