Chelsea has signed goalkeeper Jorgensen from Villarreal.

The 22-year-old Danish goalkeeper Filip Jorgensen has made a significant move, joining Chelsea from Villarreal in a transfer valued at £20.7 million. Jorgensen, who became Villarreal’s first-choice goalkeeper last season, made 37 appearances for the Spanish club, showcasing his talent and solidifying his position as a key player for them.

Jorgensen’s La Liga debut came in January 2023, marking a significant milestone in his career.

To acclimate to his new team, Jorgensen has traveled to the United States to join Chelsea’s pre-season tour. With three games remaining on their tour schedule, he may have the opportunity to appear in matches against Club America, Manchester City, or Real Madrid before the team returns home next week.
