The winger had a tough time at Old Trafford recently, falling out of favor with the Dutch head coach.
After not making it into the first team and having a dispute with Ten Hag, Sancho was kicked out of the squad and hasn’t played for Man United since August.
In response to questions about Sancho’s situation, Ten Hag kept it brief during a Friday press conference, expressing his hope for Sancho’s success in his loan move to Borussia Dortmund.
Ten Hag stated, “I hope he’s doing well, so I wish him the best of good luck. That’s it. I hope he’s doing well and he’ll be a success.”
Asked further about the loan move, Ten Hag added, “I replied, I think it’s enough.”
Sancho, who joined United in 2021 for around £73 million, hasn’t had a successful stint at Old Trafford, making 82 appearances with 12 goals and six assists.
Now back at Dortmund on loan, he aims to revive his career in Germany, where he previously impressed with 50 goals and 64 assists in 137 games.
