Kylian Mbappe made his La Liga debut as reigning champions Real Madrid were held to a draw by Mallorca on the opening day

Mbappe, who is PSG’s all-time top scorer and a six-time Ligue 1 Golden Boot winner, had several opportunities to score for his new club. He narrowly missed the target with a powerful shot that went just wide and also forced Mallorca’s goalkeeper, Dominik Greif, to make an important save with his legs.

This match marked a significant milestone in Mbappe’s career, as it was his first league game outside of France. Having started his career at Monaco, the 25-year-old World Cup winner is now adapting to life in La Liga with Real Madrid.
